View of our hallway-on the left is the bathroom, and then down from that is the washer and dryer. Past that is the utility room. You can barely see the stairs that go up and lead to the outside.
Another view.
A view of our hallway from the opposite direction. This way it leads out to our kitchen, and living room area.
Our bedroom door. (Brad made all of these doors :)
The boys' room door.

Alisia,
ReplyDeleteHow are you guys doing after the storm? Was Brad able to work last night or did the flooded roads everywhere prevent him from working?
We survived just fine, though rivers everywhere are flooded, including the connecticut. This morning it was 2 feet above flood level and was expected to rise another 6 feet.
Yes, I posted some pics and videos of the flood on FB. We really got a lot of flooding in Brookline, and part of our road is washed out. We are situated up on a hill, so we are doing fine. Just dealing with power outage, and phone & internet service. We are going to attempt to go into town today. It will be interesting to see more of the damage that was caused from Irene. Talk to you later!
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys are ok!! I don't do FB, so I didn't know. With all the roads closed, we shall see if we can make it to church on Sunday!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you are all well too! Sorry I was in a hurry earlier and just realized that I never fully answered your question as to wether Brad was able to go to work. Yes, he did and his Rt. was clear. Our road is passable. :) But I know that there are roads and bridges out everywhere. This was really something. Praise the Lord it wasn't any worse than it was. I do not know if we will be able to go to this rodeo. We had Bible study this evening. Pastor Mark is going to look into it, and see if we will be able to. There are so many roads out and it is quite a drive to Castleton, VT. Talk to you soon!
