Plimoth Plantation Field Trip

The four oldest kids and I went on a field trip with the school co-op. We had a great time learning about the history of the 17th Century English Village and the Wampanoag Indians. When we first reached Plymouth, MA these two wanted to stretch their legs and run around. Here are some pics of Kyrah with her best friend Megan. :)

Here is a picture of our group entering the Wampanoag Village. Here we were able to listen to a real native share some of the history of his people with us.

Weston enjoyed being able to sit on and touch alot of the furniture. It made it really nice to have it "Hands on" for all the visitors.

They had some animals inside this barn, and some of the kids were able to help milk the baby goats.

What a fun day we had! And such a great learning experience for the children! We will definitely have to come back again. And maybe we can bring daddy along next time. :)
