CUTTS KIDS-2015

"E" is for Elephant Week

For our "E" study we enjoyed learning all about Elephants. We took a trip to the library. There, the librarian read some great Elephant books. We also enjoyed making some Elephant crafts and enjoyed some snacks as well. We brought home quite a few Elephant books to read for the week. We had fun doing some research online about the many different kinds of Elephants, and all about this huge creature. We also enjoyed looking at many Elephant pictures. The children each wrote some interesting facts about why they liked Elephants, and also drew some great pictures of this amazing creature. For History we studied and learned about Eisenhower. To go along with our "E" week theme, the children had fun making all kinds of Eggs throughout this week. Here are a few snapshots of our week :)

Garret & Jackson found the same elephant books at the library and they were very excited about reading their books together!

Some of our Elephant books.

Jackson & Garret showing me their books :)

Garret did a great job practicing his E's this week.

The librarian read the Elephant book, Elmer to the children. Weston decided to make his Elephant look like Elmer :)
