For this study we enjoyed doing a lot of online research. We enjoyed looking at many online pictures, and listening to the sounds that Jaguars make. The little kids had fun playing some Jaguar games and putting together some Jaguar puzzles. We all watched a two hour documentary on Jaguars. We were able to get a few books at our library about them, along with some other "Wild Cat" books. We read all about Jaguars. The children had fun drawing and coloring Jaguars. They also made many different "J" things with modeling clay, including our theme animal. For science we worked on our plant and animal books. For history we studied and learned all about Andrew Jackson, along with some other weekly history projects. For Arts & Crafts, we did many fun things this week. A few of which included some finger painting drawings, and Jaguar masks. For snack time we enjoyed many "J" themed foods this week including Juice, Jello, Jelly Doughnuts, Jello Salad, and Jelly Cookies. For Physical Education the kids enjoyed ski Jumping & Jump roping :)
